Harvest Time, and a Visit to the Pumpkin Patch

Went to see the bean field and made a friend. Ellie May is a "fine pup."
So much to see at the pumpkin patch.
Going on a hay ride!

Stomping around in the pumpkin patch.

Riding with the pumpkins.

Getting over a fear of bounce houses.

Weeeeeeeee!

A day on the farm is hard work
A silo slide into a pile of corn kernels.
Cowabunga!
So fun, grandma Kathy had to give it a try.
Feeding the goats.
After the pumpkin patch, we went to visit aunt Marsha. We found a very loving cat named Mikey. Chloe was very excited to learn what a real kitten purr feels like. She fed him some kibbles and bits and that was almost more exciting than she could handle!
We went that day to ride the combine with Grandpa Gary. After explaining to Chloe that Grandpa Gary grows corn AND beans, and that we were going to get to ride in the combine and see him harvest both crops, Chloe exclaimed "YES, first we are gonna ride in the bean-bine, and then the corn-bine." Very funny and cute.
Pickin corn
At the end of a long day, we unloaded the last truck load at the bin's, and got to see Grandpa Richard.
Harvest time is such a great time of year.
