Graduation Day

What can I say?! We are so excited and proud of Zachary. He worked so hard, and he did it! Zachary graduated on December 18th 2009, with a Bachelors of Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha College of Business Administration majoring in three areas; Business Finance, Financial Markets and Banking, and Investment Portfolio Management.

We started off the day by going to brunch at our favorite little restaurant, Le Peep. I had stuffed french toast. It was so good! Bob came and ate with us, and was really happy to catch up with little Chloe. When we got home from that, Gary and Kathy (Zach's parents) made it into town, and we all went off to graduation!!

It was a Christmas miracle when Chloe fell asleep a little way into the ceremony. It was supposed to be three hours long, and though it only ended up being about two and a half, Chloe would have been a wreck if she had stayed up any longer. Here she is sleeping on mommy's puffy coat, and sucking on a sippy. Very cute. When she woke up, she was in a bad mood and this is the best picture we got of us three together.

Smoochy smoochy
So proud of you Zachary!

Grandpa Bob also came, along with Zachary's sister Karie. They were at the ceremony too, but we couldn't find them for pictures. It was so good to see them! We all went out to dinner afterward at a place that didn't have a kids menu. They laid plastic under the high chair, and it took us a whole two hours to get food. Phew. Bedtime for Chloe was a long time coming, and we were so happy when we could tuck her in for the night.

But before we went to bed, CAKE!! I bought this cake for Zachary from Whole Foods. I am sure it is not good for you, but it was all natural. It was the best cake I have ever eaten. Worth it.

Thanksgiving

Here is our Thanksgiving weekend adventure. First, we got to meet the newest cousin (nephew) Cadence Funk! Here is proud momma, Becky. Cadence is such a sweet cute little baby!!

One day, in the afternoon, we went on a nature walk on the property with Grandma Kathy, and cousins Eden, Amara, and Kiethan. Chloe didn't want to go for a wheel barrow ride:
She was too freaked out to take a picture with the gang after that:

But she was very interested when Grandma Kathy taught her about how some pine needles are soft, and some pokey. She LOVED it when Grandma Kathy showed the kids the nest that Kiethan knocked down:

All the adventure crew together, complete with Kiethan's dog, Buddy (who Chloe still asks about weekly):

All of us together!! It was a miracle, we were all there at the same time. It was really fun to get to see everyone.
Kiethan and Uncle Aaron:
And us!
Uncle Jason:
Keithan anxiously awaiting the turkey:
Gary and Zachary, carving the bird!

We had such a great time, and it was really great to see everyone all together!

To Catch Up

Wow, it has been a long time since I have posted anything!!

Add VideoWe have been so busy and having a great time. There was Halloween, where Chloe was a little princess:
Chloe had a great time, and is still saying "fick ow feet" every once in a while when she wants "tandy." Here is a picture of us at the Children's Museum: Then there was the fun little small town pumpkin patch outing that we went on with Grandma Kathy:
Next Grandpa Don (Evans) came to visit:

We had a great time catching up! We always love it when we get visitors all the way out here in Omaha!!

What We've Been Up To Lately Part Two

MAKING FRIENDS!!

I love these kiddies so much! Chloe couldn't ask for better friends. Their mom's have really been such fun new friends for me!! I don't know why I haven't gotten any pictures of Brandi with all the fun we have been getting into lately, but Jenn (shown above) has also been my newest partner in at home motherhood insanity. I just love her!!

Snow in October

Chloe was VERY excited about the snow today. It was really hard to get her to come inside all day.
We made a snow man!

Looks like it's time to invest in some good snowman building gloves (for me), because this girl has an insatiable appetite for the sport (and that means, MOMMA! Peas hep a foee [Chloe] a build a
sown man PEAS!!).

BFF's

Kate and Chloe have been BFF's since they were about 6 weeks old! Actually, Kate's mom Krista and I have been BFF's since we shared our gorey birth stories in the mother's lounge when our babies were 6 weeks old... but the point is, these two have had some good times together!!

These two are so different, like apples and oranges as they say. Totally different, but equally entertaining and hilarious!!
